Once a week, $50 is given to a random stranger in a plain, unmarked envelope.

A small, trust-based social experiment. The money is a gift — no strings attached — to be used however the recipient believes will make the world a little better.

Core Principles

  • No obligation – Sharing a story is optional
  • No judgment – There is no "correct" use of the $50
  • No surveillance – No tracking of recipients or spending
  • No gamification – No likes, comments, scores, or rankings
  • Human over scalable – The project is intentionally small and calm
